After more than four years and nearly 400 students, our graduates are still earning amazing scores. The following results represent all pre-med students who have completed one of our programs and reported their scores to us as of August 15, 2009. Obviously, you could score above or below these averages depending on your individual situation and work ethic. Based on careful analysis of former students, the most accurate predictor of how a student will score is not their aptitude, but the degree to which they do or do not adhere to the tenets of our program.
For comparison purposes, the nationwide average is a 25. Approximately 80% of all nationwide test takers will score BELOW a 30 and only 6% will score a 35 or above.*

NOTES ON METHODOLOGY:
The above data represent all pre-med students (both allopathic and osteopathic) who have completed an Altius course during the time period indicated for whom we have been able to obtain a score. All statistical outliers are INCLUDED in the data. We are generally successful in obtaining scores from 90-95% of all students. If a student takes the MCAT multiple times, we use their most recent score. Students who take the exam after July 15th of any year will not have received their scores by the time we report results for that year's class on or around August 15th. Scores from students who join but do not complete the program, who are absent from 20% or more of their tutoring and/or classroom sessions, or who fail to complete major aspects of the program, are not included. This is not an attempt to exclude lower scores, only to ensure that the scores reported here reflect those who have actually completed the Altius course. Students who did not attend and participate would not be expected to score well. Students pursuing other pre-professional programs (pre-Dental, pre-Podiatry, etc.) occassionally take our course, but are not included in these data because the requirements for these programs vary widely, often utilize other exams besides the MCAT, and use entirely different scoring scales.
