Frequently asked questions about Altius and the MCAT
Q: Where is Altius located?
A: Altius is located in Provo, Utah next to Brigham Young University but is able to help students no matter where they are even abroad.
Q: Do I have to be in Utah to do Altius?
A: No. You can be anywhere in the world and do our programs as long as you have an internet connection. So with that logic, you could even do the Altius program from remote locations like Kazakhstan or Ohio.
Q: Does Altius try to talk me into going to a specific university?
A: No. We want you to reach your dream no matter which school that includes. Whichever school is your dream school, we want to help get you there.
Q: What if I don’t like my mentor?
A: If you don’t like your mentor for any reason, we will gladly switch you to another mentor. We screen our mentors thoroughly and listen to student feedback (ongoing or at the end of the classes) and will not keep a mentor if there is ample negative feedback. So you should like your first mentor, but if not then your second one will be a good fit for sure.
